The summer Carnival – 17th May 2012 ( St.  Joseph’s Academy, Dehradun)

Exuberance and Joy was written large on the faces of all who enjoyed the  “Summer Carnival – 2012” at St. Joseph’s Academy organized by the Alumni, Staff and students of the School.

The carnival was declared open at 2:00 pm by the honourable SSP Ms Neeru Garg , who graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Organised with an idea to provide an opportunity for fun and frolic, the carnival was packed with a large variety of amusement . The proceedings of the day began with ababy show that was held in different categories . The sight of the cute lkittle ones wearing unarming innocent smile anddressed up in colourful attires lef the onlookers charmed.

The students also didn’t lag behind and under the guidance and supervision of their Class Teachers put up their stalls of  different fun games including darting, hoopla, Tambola, light the candles, Break the Pyramid, Ring the Duck , fishing the bottle, ball in the bowl etc. The request corner was well prepared to cater to the needs of ardent music lovers who had the songs of their choice played ceaselessly.

SJA on this occasion  had organized a band competition to tap the immense talent of the students in which band groups of Unison World School, St. George’s College, Mussorie and the Redemption Group etc enthralled the listeners and received an overwhelming response. The popular eateries of the city like KFC, Kreamy  Icecreams, Dominoes etc had put up their stalls decked up with mouth-watering delicacies. To add to the mood and fervor , a jam session was organized in the School Auditorium to help the youngsters burn their extra calories as well as the floor.

Indeed the fun pool- The Summer Carnival – 2012 splashed the water of joy everywhere
