On 1st May,2015 SJA  celebrated St. Joseph’s Day and Labour day with great fan fare .The programme commenced with a prayer by Savinay Sharma, followed by lightening of the ceremonial lamp  by Bro. Dennis and the ancillary staff. Then followed a number of songs sung by the school choir like ‘Dear St.Joseph’, ‘St . Joseph Teri Jai Ho’ and ‘ Sab Mil Ka Saat ’ and an enthralling dance performance on the song ‘Mitva sun Mitva’.

Pramanshu Yadav then delivered a Hindi speech highlighting the contribution of the support staff. Later on a skit was performed on the ideals of Gandhiji that gave a message of ‘dignity of labour’. A power point presentation made on  the ancillary staff regaled the audience.

In the latter half of the programme the B.E.D  students put up an exhilarating performance by entertaining the audience with a rhythmic  musical melody ‘Kitchen Chronicles’ using only  kitchen utensils, which was followed by a theme based Mime on the excessive use of mobile phones.

Bro. Dennis distributed gifts to the ancillary staff members. He also thanked the workers for their diligent service. Moreover, a few of them received cheques for their industrious service to the school by Bro. Sabestian. The programme concluded with the school song.
