Another glorious feat was achieved by Josephites in Milestone 2012, a cultural extravaganza organized annually at St. Georges College Mussoorie. The event saw participation of more than 20 prestigious schools of in and around Dehradun, viz. All Saints’ College  Nainital, CJM Waverly , CJM Dehradun,  Welham Boys, Welham Girls, DPS Dehradun etc. Competitions were held in a number of categories like singing, dancing, painting, etc.

        The soul stirring voice of Vibhor Takkar and Devika Dhoundiyal easily won the first prize in the Hindi duet. Western Song group including Rohan Oberoi, Shubhangi Singh, Rohit Rastogi and Prerna Gaur ably supported by lead guitarist Anhad Singha, bass guitarist Sushant Gakkar, Ajeya Saxena and keyboard player Paritosh Anand enthralled tha audience with its mellifluous singing, and clinched the first prize.

        In Just a Minute, another entertaining Competition, Naman Bhatt regaled the gathering and bagged the second position whereas Akshita Choudhary, Shrishti Chauhan and Falguni Aggarwal won second prize in T-Shirt painting competition. Amidst tough competition, the school dancing choreography team and quiz team also earned immense applause and managed to secure third and fourth positions respectively.

         Eventually, SJA emerged as the Champion of the Champions for the third consecutive year and was awarded the much coveted shield and the overall trophy. Dr. Suhani Sabarwal, a senior teacher of the school was also awarded a token of appreciation by the host school. The team expresses gratitude towards the escort teachers and above all the school principal – Rev. Bro. A.J. George for his unflitting support and guidance.
