SJA celebrates the 66th Independence Day with fervor

SJA celebrated the 66th Independence Day with immense zeal and fervor. A special assembly was organized to commemorate the great deeds of our freedom fighters and to rejoice the much loved freedom.

The chief guest for the occasion was Group Captain Onkar Nath who hoisted the flag which was followed by the rhythmic rendition of the national anthem. Lavanya Taneja compeered the programme which included inspiring speeches by Aditi and Yash Aggarwal, a patriotic song by the students of the middle school, and an enthralling dance performance by the students of senior school.

Addressing the gathering the chief guest Group Captain Onkar Nath spoke highly of the impeccable character, intellect and great political acumen of our freedom fighters and encouraged the students to imbibe their qualities. He was confident that India would be an excellent country to live as God has gifted her with abundant natural resources. The programme concluded with the mellifluous singing of ‘ Vande Mataram’ replete with immense patriotic fervor.
