Labour Day was celebrated today in St. Joseph’s Academy to appreciate and thank the ancillary staff for their continuous endevour for the upkeep of the functioning of the school

The program was precided over by the Principal Brother Dennis and the Middle School Coordinator Mrs. Sangeeta Anand.The teachers and the students of the middle school put up an variety entertainment programme to express their gratitude to the workers in the school campus.

The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by Brother Thomas from Ghanna and Mr. Pradeep Chettri, the supervisor of the school.The video presentation inspired the students to respect every human being and each profession. The folk dancers mesmerised

the audience with their scintillating performance.

The students of the middle school arranged a sumptuous lunch for the helpers from their pocket money which they willingly contributed because they value the dignity of labour and share a deep bond with these people who make their lives easier in school.
