Hindi Diwas at SJA

The programme commenced with the morning prayer in Hindi which was
followed by an extempore hindi debate competition. The topic of the
debate competition was ‘Mobile Phones are harmful for the children’.
The judges were Mrs. Lata Jain and Mr. R. P. Shukla who finally
declared Kriti Goyal and Kshitij Bisht as the first and second prize
winners respectively.
The results of the recently held ‘Creative Writing competition’ in
Hindi were also announced and the winners are-
class 6:- I-Kotleen ; II-Mahek ; III-Kritika
class 7:- I-Bharat ; II-Arthsha ; III-Prabhleen
class 8:- I-Komudi ; II-Katya ; III-Apoorv
class 9:- I-Aishwariya ; II-Vasundhra ; III-Akanksha
Mrs. Suman Tiwari in her speech emphasised the importance of Hindi and
suggested the students to pay attention to their handwriting and
vocabulary. The Principal, Rev. Bro. A.J.George also addressed the
students in Hindi and stressed that all languages are interdependent
and should be given due weightage and importance
