The 3rd day of the great cutural extravaganza at SJA unfolded plethora of activities ranging from movie making, folk dances,  classical dances, duet singing and English Dramatics etc. The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal Rev. Bro. Dennis .The first event was  movie -making competitionon on the  theme  ‘Water’ .The event was judged by Mr. Prashant Arora and Mr. Sudarshan Juyal who were impressed seeing the enlightening movies prepared by the students. Next in line was the  heart -throbbing group Folk Dance  performances ably judged by Mrs. Namrata Walia, Mrs. Ila Kumar and Mrs Roy.Ensuing the folk dance
came the solo Indian classical dance performance in  which the performers with their exquisite footwork and expressions left  the audience spellbound. The well – scripted and well enacted comedy  plays like  ‘The Girl Next Door’ ,  ‘Hotel 4o Towers’ ,’Shots in the Dark’  and  ‘My Fair Lady’   in the English Dramatics proved that the school has no dirth of    budding actors and writers .
In  duet singing the melodious rendition of the Hindi  songs  like  ‘  Har kisi ko nahi milta’ , ‘Bol na halke halke’  etc by the performers of all the four houses mesmerized the gathering. Then came  the much awaited event of the day,  instrumental music. The audience was charmed by the infectious energy and tempo of the instrumental music .Last but not the least was the Western group dance that left the gathering just asking for more .Such was the magical effect of the cultural week that noone realized when the events came to the end .With butterflies in the stomach, the students eagerly waited for the results that brought the ultimate glory to  Duffy house that won the Champions’  Trophy, very  closely followed by Dooley house that won the runners- up trophy. All in all seeing the  best house win  by the end of the day, exuberance was writ large on every face .
